- About Me:
- I am a Gospel Singer, Mother of 2, CCD/Youth Choir Teacher and Faithful member of my church. My Gospel Band and Church travel and we love to Fellowship with others. I work with intertwining organizations to assist with social issues. I Love to empower children and others who have little hope with self-esteem and to learn about Jesus Christ/Gospel.
In June 2005 while working as a nurse in pediatric surgery/Singing in a Funk band and raising my 2 children, I took very ill. After multiple testing and treatment for High Blood Pressure, Asthma. Come to find out postpartum (10 years prior) Cardiomyopathy (Heart Disease) was missed after a difficult childbirth. I've begun my new life with Christ just prior to finding out about my heart. God has saved me from self destruction and he is healing me everyday. I have to stay on top of my treatment/care but otherwise, I am so blessed with a good life now filled with God and others who share in love and fellowship. My heart is in my praise and worship of the Lord for all he's done and continues to do for me.
I presently attend Westfield State College in Pursuit of completion of Addiction Counselor Education Program which graduation is set for May 2009. I hope and pray for others to find their way
and know that the music in my heart is healing for myself and I wish to share it with all of those who need the Lord to reach them through song and fellowship.
My favorite verse (Bible) is: HEBREWS CH.11 V1
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for , the evidence of things not seen......"
My sister is Minister Vickie (Massachusetts) who is also on this site. She is an author of extraordinary books.(Hallelujiah Anyhow, Alphabet Assertions) Which we together have had conferences/seminars which combined her spiritual counsel with great music. My older sister is Reverend Scherrie Winding of Texas who is also a gospel artist as well as spiritually highly favored. We offer Love, Peace and Friendship to any and all.
