Profile Information

Involvement in Ministry/Church
I held various offices in the church; from serving as an usher, choir member, choir President, Deacon, and Chairman of the Deacon Board. In February of 2004, I was licensed as a minister of the gospel. In September 2005 I was ordained as an Elder.

I and my wife both serve in the role of administrators for a multi-city ministry, covering New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. I am currently employed in the secular market while preparing to take on my pre-ordained ministerial role in the church.
About Me:
I was born and raised in the borough of Manhattan in the confines of New York City, the second of four children. Growing up with a Christian discipline, I accepted Christ as a teenager. I attended and graduated from a vocational High School specific in graphic arts in the printing trade and studied Business Management at a local college until a career was launched within the New York City Police Department. I served as a Police Officer in patrol and investigative units until my promotion to Detective, and based upon meticulous observation and determination became a well established investigator. My life was blessed upon meeting my wife Glyniel, and in our union were blessed with three children. I retired from the police force after twenty years of service and followed God’s leading, relocating my family to Ocala Florida to carry out the plan that God preordained for our lives.

Throughout the early years of my life, it was evident that I had a gift for writing. Creative writing, since elementary school, led to descriptive and detailed reporting of events that provide a clear cut illustration through words. Recognized for my gifts, talents, and abilities, I was often called upon to prepare eloquent documents with the purpose of honoring the character of many individuals.

THIS IS A WAKE-UP CALL
by: David W. Johnson, Jr.

All the horrible things that are happening to African Americans
Do you realize these things are not just happening but planned?
You cannot see that we are just playing into our enemies hands
Right now, of our lives and our children we must take command

Want a real dose of reality, take a day and go into some courtrooms
Ninety-eight percent of those standing trial are our own young children
They are swept into prisons like trash and judges are holding the brooms
Children today do not have role models on whom they can truly depend

African-American males dying from criminal homicides is truly alarming
Police no longer need target ranges, our children are now their targets
Life in inner-cities, no longer happy, friendly, inter-active and charming
Gone are the days when you could set out on your front porch on hamlets

In homes, you have mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles and children doing dope
Teenagers are in basements having sex while parents are upstairs getting high
Adults had better come together soon, if African Americans are to have hope
Too many young people live today to join gangs, sell drugs, have sex and die

African-American males residing in eight of the nation's largest urban communities
Baltimore; Brooklyn, New York; Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; Los Angeles, Calif.; New Orleans, Louisiana; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Washington, D.C.
Our young men are facing high risks of dying from homicide and that we all can see

Adults, we cannot just ignore the situation, and pretend everything is all right
Recruitment efforts for teachers, going down but for police it is skyrocketing
Young children are being found shot in the face, back of the heads, day and night
Positive changes in the lives of our young people, adults must soon start to bring

We do not know who our young daughters are dating good young men or gangsters
Are they out with dope dealers while, we are thinking they are at the local mall
Brothers and Sisters, children’s lives are like riding on some broken rollercoaster
How many children must die before adults realize that, “This Is A Wake-up Call?”

GREATEST WIFE EVER
Fr: Your Husband Erroll…. W/Love

So much in our lives we too often take for granted
Often we change once we get that Special Someone
Do that even with someone whom we are enchanted
Someone whose love for us is much hotter than the sun

Getting caught up in day-to-day things can cause neglect
Giving our spouses hugs and casual kisses on their cheeks
Never thinking that on them this might have a hurting affect
Our behavior towards our spouses we should seriously critique

How many truly know what love is and how to make it last
First, love is about sharing your feelings and responsibilities
Wives or husbands is not someone you wave at as you pass
Not someone you marry to help pay your rent or your utilities

Someone with whom you get angry with and search for another
Marriage is truly a two-way street that you should share equally
If one does not want it to last forever, they should never bother
Always mean it when you tell your spouse you love them sincerely

In the beginning if you open their car doors and hold their hands
Once you become husband and wife, why should things be different?
Loving you, my Wife sincerely makes me an even Greater Man
Marrying you My Queen is the way God wanted LOVE to represent

My Dear Wife, I present this poem so my feelings you will always know
There is no one in the World I could love more than you, near or afar
You make every day of my life awesome and cause my heart to glow
In my mind & heart, you are my dream come true and my shining star

The words you are hearing, you can rest assured comes from my heart
My Lady, all my love is for you and you alone, not for anyone else, never
When we met I knew I had found my Queen and we would never depart
My Beautiful Queen, you are without a doubt the “Greatest Wife Ever”

Will Love You With All My Heart
