If you love reading short stories and poems, then you'll love reading Psalms of the Daughter, an awesome collection of Christian-themed poems and short stories that give hope to men and women battling difficult life struggles (i.e. depression, domestic violence). The book also includes a set of discussion questions appropriate for book clubs and/or Bible study groups. Purchase copies online at www.psalmsofthedaughter.com.

Psalms of the Daughter is excellent reading material for adult (18 and older) book clubs, recovery programs, Christian fiction classes, and study groups. Special discounts available at www.psalmsofthedaughter.com for bulk purchases of 10 books or more.

Press Release: For Immediate Release

Don't Be Bitter, Get Better

Why do bad things happen to good people?

Columbia, SC, March 11, 2009 - These past few months have been difficult and so many are feeling the effects of the shifting economy. Minister and author, Paulette Harper, sets out to remind those on the verge of losing hope that the best is yet to come.

Struggling to recover from a broken marriage and disappointed dreams, Paulette Harper groped for meaning and understanding. She ultimately turned to God and found the answers she longed for – learning her real purpose through all the pain. Her mission now is to teach others how to deal with disappointment and shattered dreams.

By sharing her struggles with transparency, through her new book, That Was Then, This Is Now, This Broken Vessel Restored (Tate Publishing, May 2008, $11.99), Harper illustrates how restoration can come from revelation.

“I want to share the message of triumph over tragedy. I believe that if a person is mentored, taught and trained – their attitude will change and they’ll have success – this book will be a catalyst for change,” said Harper, who is the founder of Broken Vessel Ministry.

About the Author

A native of Pittsburg ,CA , Paulette Harper travels as an inspirational speaker, licensed minister, workshop facilitator, and founder of Broken Vessel Ministry. For more information about Paulette and her new release “That Was Then, This Is Now, This Broken Vessel Restored” visit bvministry.org.

It’s a New Year and a New Season!!!

You are invited to an afternoon of fun, fellowship and enlightenment as we come together for our first 2009 SEEP Meeting!!! We have an expanded direction for our fellowship and have some new things, events and programs that will be instituted. Join Us...The Sisters are on the MOVE!!!

Some things are different but some things are the same. Our facilitator for the meeting is Min. Dorothy Griffith. Her topic is our Goals for 2009. Come prepared to participate and not just spectate. While praying for the meeting, write down your goals for this year whether they are personal, ministry or professional goals. Don't forget to RSVP for you, your friends and family. I'm looking to get a few Christian Women together to work together in my ministry to encourage other women. All women will be hand-picked by me to be sure that our ladies are getting the encouragement they need.

The Ladies that I choose will create profiles on this site. On your profiles and on the website, you will be able to write articles, words of encouragement, give tips, post prayers, prayer requests, interact with other woman etc. Each lady will concentrate on one particular topic that way each lady has their own vision and direction they will be going in to encourage other women.

I currently have an organization called Take the Challenge....I Dare you! I'm looking to empower others on working on their trouble areas. Many of us struggle with fears, patience, past hurts, addictions. I want to encourage those who are suffering to work on their trouble areas and work towards being free of their demons.

I've created a website for this organization and I'm looking for those who would like to help me in this movement; those who feel they have the power to empower someone and help them get through their troubles.

If there's anyone who's interested, check out my site. Add your name to the mentor list or add your name to the list of people who's looking for a mentor in the forums.

We've all got to stick together and work together to help each other overcome our battles. Remember we are all children of God.

Let's take the challenge!

Check out the site at www.takethechalleange.webs.com
